                                       MY  SCHOOL.                                        The Name of My School is MT/ Vijaya  College Matale. It is situated in the middle of the town  I live in .  It is a very large school. The school building is old but beautiful. There are many classrooms in it . The principal is Ranjith Shrivardhan .    MY FIRST DAY AT ENGLISH  ACADEMY.                                                  On the First Day I came here, I had to do a lot of things. I was afraid because the first day. I could not speak English. But my friends helped me to learn English. And also our first day , our first lesson was   ''  can  '' . We had to face some practices. I got high marks in my  practical.  In that day principle  sir advised us. There were a lot of girls in our  hall.  Some girls spoke with me. There are eight members in our group . They we also spoke with me. On the first day we took our lunch at 11.30. After our lunch we came back and started to learn again .  All the teachers helped us to do our work well. I could go to boarding house at 4 o' clock . The first day I was very happy...   

                   MY BIRTH DAY CELEBRATION.                     I  Celebrated M y last Birth Day on o4th of April 2022. It was My 21th  Birth Day. In that I got up early in the morning . My sister sang the Birth day song. Then I went and got ready quickly after My Mother prepared milk rice together. Next we went to temple and worshipped the Lord Buddha. Then My Father arranged a birth day party and he invited My Friends. My Sister decorated our house. My Mother brought a dress for me. Then I wore the dress and got ready to the party.             MY FAVORITE PLACE IN SIGIRIYA .                                                 My Favorite place in Sigiriya   . S igiriya is one of the world  heritage sites in Sri Lanka. It is  located in Matale district. Sigiriya is an ancient rock fortress. It was built by king Kashyapa.                   Sigiriya is world famous for its frescoes. Foreign tourists who come to Sri Lanka visit Sigiriya . It is a place of archaeological and historical value.                   We can see the graffiti or verses on the mirror wall.    MY FAVORITE SPORT.                                    There are lot of sports for children in our country. But My Favorite Sport in Cricket. Cricket is a very famous sport. Cricket is the National Sport of the England. But now it has spread in many countries. It is the most popular sport in Sri Lanka.                            It can be played by Men, Women and Children of all ages. It is an outdoor game which requires a Bat, Ball and Stumps. There are Batsmen , Bowlers , Wicket -  Keepers and Fielder in each team .                                                 MY  HOBBY .                         There are a lot of hobbies.  I like to do .  Among all My Favorite  is Reading  Books. I read Novels,  Magazines , Short story and Any kind of material that I find interesting.  ''READING   MAKES A FULL MAN''  .  From my childhood I had a love for reading both Sinhala and English Books. My parents encouraged me to buy various Story Books. If we want to write good essays we must read books. Not only simply we have to read  good books of History ,Travel , Biography and Science. By so doing this we will become a Full  Man . So I keep on reading something everyday .... 

                                      LET ME SEE MY DREAM. 🎓         Since childhood I had a dream to get University Admission.                                  I studied Music from the Art steam to the Advanced Level to pave the way to my and mt parents dream. After passing my high school with  a thousand hopes when I applied  for Universities.                                VALUE OF NEWSPAPER    '' Newspaper is one of the media of  communication .''               Life without newspaper is difficult to imagine. It is the first thing that we look for every morning. It bring us news and views from all corners of the world. Any event or occurrence of importance that takes place is reported by the newspapers.                The Newspapers carry information for everyone businessman , politician ,unemployed people, players and kids etc. It widens knowledge , keeps one abreast of all advaces made in the fields of science , education , medicine and technology .                 Some newspapers are published daily . other are published weekly.     OUR SCHOOL SPORTS MEET.                                          It was a very interesting day for every one of us .we were all very happy together.                          There are four houses in our school. They are Ananda ,Nalanda , Dharmaraja  and Mahinda . Inter house sports meet was  held on 5   th of March 2021 . It was in Barnad Aluvihara ground.               The  Chief Guest was the Minister of Sport. He was accompanied both the school Western and Eastern bands.                        There were so many events in the meet.   At the last month we went to the zoological garden at Dehiwala. I went with my hostel friends😊..We bought tickets at the entrance and entered the zoo.                       The zoo is a large enclosure with trees , ponds ,Cages and  buildings.  Live animals are kept in those buildings for exhibition.                                                                        First we visited the acquarium .There were a large number of ornamental fish there. They were kept in glass tanks.                        Then we went to another section. There are we saw monkeys .They entertained us there.
