   OUR SCHOOL SPORTS MEET.

                       

                 It was a very interesting day for every one of us .we were all very happy together. 

                       There are four houses in our school. They are Ananda ,Nalanda , Dharmaraja  and Mahinda. Inter house sports meet was  held on 5 th of March 2021. It was in Barnad Aluvihara ground.






             The Chief Guest was the Minister of Sport. He was accompanied both the school Western and Eastern bands.






                       There were so many events in the meet. Among  the in 400 miters relay the class relay of grade 11 and the teachers race were very interesting .



          In the evening chief guest gave away the prizes and certificate for the winners. Then the chief guest made a speech praising the members of the staff and the organising committee on the perfect arrangements. He also stressed the value of sports.

           The proceedings of the day came to and end by 7.00 p.m . It was a very significant day in my school life.................

It is situated in the middle of the town  I live in .  It is a very large school. The school building is old but beautiful. There are many classrooms in it . The principal is Ranjith Shrivardhan .             MY FAVORITE PLACE IN SIGIRIYA .                                                 My Favorite place in Sigiriya   . S igiriya is one of the world  heritage sites in Sri Lanka. It is  located in Matale district. Sigiriya is an ancient rock fortress. It was built by king Kashyapa.                   Sigiriya is world famous for its frescoes.
