A visit to the zoo

 At the last month we went to the zoological garden at Dehiwala. I went with my hostel friends😊..We bought tickets at the entrance and entered the zoo.

                      The zoo is a large enclosure with trees , ponds ,Cages and  buildings.  Live animals are kept in those buildings for exhibition.  

                                               

                     First we visited the acquarium .There were a large number of ornamental fish there. They were kept in glass tanks. 

                      Then we went to another section. There are we saw monkeys.They entertained us there. They watched the actions of those interesting  animals .

               
        Our next stop is at birds section. They were kept in cages. There were various kinds of parrots and other birds.

            Tigers , Lions ,Bears and Cheetahs were housed in different rows of strongly built cages. There were sign boards put up on the cages written the words ''Dengerous Animals''.

              At about 1.00 P.M. we had our lunch under the shade of a huge tree . After having our lunch we visited some more cages. We saw the Snakes😨😨. We also saw a large python too

    

  

😊😊Then we saw the Rhinoceros . It was  swimming in a watery   place ... 

👀👀  Then we heard an announcement . It was about  the elephant dance . So we rushed to the place and sat down on the terraced steps. The performance of the elephant were wonderful.

 

    At about  5.30.P.M we all went to the hostel............
