                             The Name of My School is MT/ Vijaya  College Matale. It is situated in the middle of the town  I live in .  It is a very large school. The school building is old but beautiful. There are many classrooms in it . The principal is Ranjith Shrivardhan . He is a kind and very efficient man . The teachers of My School are of many races. They are all very clever and hardworking teachers.



                              It has a stone  building. It has all facilities a good school should have well furnished  classrooms , laboratories , library and playground. As we enter the school, there is a playground to our left and a small garden to our right. When we enter the building, The principal's room and the office room are to the left side and the staff room to the right side. There are fifty classrooms. Our labs are well equipped. Our library has books almost on all subjects. Our librarian is also helpful.

                               Our School like all schools has a prescribed uniform. Girls have to wear white flock and brown shoes. They have to tie and black ribbon also. Boys have to wear white shirts and white trousers and black shoes.

                              In our school special attention is paid to behavior , cleanliness and punctuality.  The most well behaved neat and punctual student is awarded a prize at the Annual Day Function.

                              I love my school and my school life , Every day I learn new things here and enjoy it with my friends. All My Teachers love and support me . I have learned discipline and punctuality from my teachers and it will help me a lot in my future...


                       I am proud to be a student at this school and I shall never forget it..........

            MY FAVORITE PLACE IN SIGIRIYA .                                                 My Favorite place in Sigiriya   . S igiriya is one of the world  heritage sites in Sri Lanka. It is  located in Matale district. Sigiriya is an ancient rock fortress. It was built by king Kashyapa.                   Sigiriya is world famous for its frescoes.
