 ''Newspaper is one of the media of communication.''


              Life without newspaper is difficult to imagine. It is the first thing that we look for every morning. It bring us news and views from all corners of the world. Any event or occurrence of importance that takes place is reported by the newspapers.

               The Newspapers carry information for everyone businessman , politician ,unemployed people, players and kids etc. It widens knowledge , keeps one abreast of all advaces made in the fields of science , education , medicine and technology.

                Some newspapers are published daily . other are published weekly. Newspapers are published in all three languages Sinhala , English and Tamil.

  Example - 📰  Dinamina , Divaina  , Lankadeepa , Aruna and Lakbima are daily sinhala newspapers.

                      📰  The English daililes are Daily News, Daily Mirror and The Island.

                     📰  Dinapathi ,Weerakesari are the tamil dailies.           

                   



      Newspaper are important pillar in a democracy. A free press not only makes people aware of the views and policies of goverment but also of their rights. Unfortunatly most newspapers  have vested interests. They are owned by capitalist and have to there line.

              Newspaper is regarded as the cheapest means to get all important local and foreign news. A Newspaper is indispensable to the modern man and his community.........

It is situated in the middle of the town  I live in .  It is a very large school. The school building is old but beautiful. There are many classrooms in it . The principal is Ranjith Shrivardhan .             MY FAVORITE PLACE IN SIGIRIYA .                                                 My Favorite place in Sigiriya   . S igiriya is one of the world  heritage sites in Sri Lanka. It is  located in Matale district. Sigiriya is an ancient rock fortress. It was built by king Kashyapa.                   Sigiriya is world famous for its frescoes. Foreign tourists who come to Sri Lanka visit Sigiriya . It is a place of archaeological and historical value.                   We can see the graffiti or verses on the mirror wall.
